Obituary
Naugatuck-Mrs. Eleanor C. (Sikorski) Benoit, age: 71 of 137 Irving Street, widow of Maurice R. Benoit, Sr., died Friday at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Mrs. Benoit was born in Naugatuck, CT July 21, 1938, daughter of the late Walter & Genevieve (Sterniak) Sikorski. She was a graduate of Naugatuck High School and long time resident of Naugatuck. She had worked for several years at Waterbury Hospital in the pediatric wing, Risdon Manufacturing, but her most important job was raising her eight children. She enjoyed Bingo, cooking, animals, and she adored her dog Bejioux. She was a very giving person with a great sense of humor. Mrs. Benoit was also a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church.
She leaves:

Roger M. Benoit of Naugatuck,
4 daughters: Madeleine Coogler of Austin, TX

15 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews.
Mrs. Benoit was predeceased by a son: Gerard Benoit.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday January 19, 2010 at 10:15AM from the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church Street, Naugatuck for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6-8PM.
