Obituary
Naugatuck-Leo J. Kisielewski, age: 90, of 387 Prospect Street, husband of Catherine A. (Carlino) Kisielewski, died Friday at Paradigm Health Care in Prospect.
Mr. Kisielewski was born in Union City, CT on November 2, 1919, son of the late Leo & Eleanor (Novacinski) Kisielewski. He was a lifelong resident of Naugatuck. He was a WW II veteran of the United States Army/Airforce and he was awarded numerous medals. He was a communicant of St. Hedwig Church, where he belonged to the Holy Name Society. He was also a member of the American Legion in Beacon Falls.
Besides his wife, he leaves:
1 son: Eugene P. Kisielewski & his wife Sandy of North Canaan, CT
1 daughter: Marie Bordonaro & her husband Vincent of Plainville, CT
7 grandchildren: Erica, Greg, Jamie, Sebby Lee, Sarah, Emily & Angela
1 great grandson: Dylan
and several nieces & nephews.
His funeral will be held on Wednesday January 20, 2010 at 9:15AM from the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck, to St. Hedwig Church for A Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM. Burial, with military honors, will follow in St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5-7PM.
