Obituary
Naugatuck – Mrs. Ann (Thompson) Cross, 80, of Sharon Avenue, Naugatuck, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She was the widow of James H. Cross.
Mrs. Cross was born in New Milford, CT on December 19, 1929, a daughter of the late Charles and Lucy (Smally) Thompson. She was a long-time Naugatuck resident and a member of the Naugatuck United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing bingo with her great-granddaughter Kayla and enjoyed shopping. “She could hang with the best.”
She leaves a son, James H. Cross, Sr. of Colorado; three daughters, Judy Lubanda and Cathy Cross both of Naugatuck, Sherrie Willson of Colorado; a sister Harriet Delrosso of New Milford; 14 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A service will be held on Thursday, January 14 at 10am at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck.
