Obituary

Betty Middendorf, 83, Greensburg, passed away on Friday, May 16, 2008 at the Morning Breeze Nursing Home in Greensburg. Born, June 17, 1924 in Franklin County, Indiana, she was the daughter of William and Margie (Jones) Holzback. Betty was a homemaker and was also the bookkeeper for Farm Bureau Co-op for 10 years. She was a member of the Sandusky Methodist Church and the Sandusky Methodist Women. She was married to J. Albert Middendorf on November 22, 1950 and he preceded her in death on February 16, 2007. She is survived by one son, Steve (Cheryl) Middendorf, Wilkinson, In.; 1 brother, Wilbur Holzback, Rushville. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother, William R. Holzback. Visitation will be from 1-3:00 p.m. Monday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, May 19, 2008 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg with Rev. Richard Waddle officiating. Interment will be held in the South Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Decatur County Hospice.
