Obituary

Thelma Mae Gann, 82, of Higginsville, died July 17th at the Western Missouri Medical Center. She was born August 1, 1929 in Blackwater, Missouri to Guy and Bessie (Powers) Nichols She was preceded in death by her husband, John on July 12, 2001; brothers, Guy Nichols, Jr. and Linwood Nichols; sisters, Elizabeth Vesser and Martha Frakes; and 2 grandchildren. Casket Bearers were Jerry Fiene, Earl Fiene, Steve Whitt, Justin Gann, Larry Popejoy, Parviz Huseynov

Eulogy

She married John Gann on August 28, 1947. Thelma grew up in Saline County and settled in Mayview in 1960. She lived there until moving to Higginsville Estates a couple of years ago. She enjoyed embroidery and gardening and was a hard working farm wife.
