Obituary
Pearle Curtis Tatterson, 87, died Sunday, December 18, 2011 after a brief illness at Manokin Manor in Princess Anne. Born July 28, 1924, in Clarenceville, Quebec, Canada, she was youngest daughter of the late Dr. Erle C. Curtis and Pearle A. Dickinson.
Pearle worked briefly for the Worcester County Board of Education as an aide in the Snow Hill Elementary School. She volunteered at the Samaritan Shop affiliated with Bates Memorial Church, the food pantry and baked many pies for the Christmas in Snow Hill tour.
Preceding her in death was her husband Donald H. Tatterson Sr. She is survived by her four children, Donald H. Tatterson Jr., his two boys and his wife Deborah, Gail Tatterson Gladding, her husband Dicky and their three boys, Beth Tatterson Parrish and her husband Joe, and Erle C. Tatterson and six great-grand children.
A memorial will be held on December 30, 2011 at the Burbage Funeral Home on Federal Street in Snow Hill. Friends may call from 10 to 11 am and a short service will follow.
