Obituary
Arietta Faye Broadus, 72, Greensburg, died Monday, August 27, 2007 at her residence in Greensburg.
Born, May 16, 1935 in Knoxville, TN, she was the daughter of Victor L. and Katherine Mae (Like) Dance.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Red Hat Society at September Place.
She was married to Charles R. “Spec” Broadus on October 2, 1972 and he preceded her in death on September 8, 2000.
She is survived by three sons, Victor Wayne Rigby, Greensburg, John Lyle Rigby, Missouri, Ken Thomas Rigby, Seymour; two daughters, Christine Elaine Tuggle, Laurel, Karen Faye Bourne, Laurel; two brothers, Gene Dance, Greensburg, Fred Dance, Greensburg; four sisters, Susie Smith, Greensburg, Mary Hull, Greensburg, Hazel Davis, Knoxville, Tn., Lillie Nichols, Knoxville, Tn.; 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; 2 brothers, Hazen & Jack Dance; 1 granddaughter, Kierra Sizemore.
Visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg with Herman Nichols officiating.
Interment will be held in the South Park Cemetery in Greensburg.
Memorials may be made to the Decatur County Hospice.
