Obituary
Oxford – Mrs. Charlotte (Borowich) Peters, 87, of Old Church Road, Oxford, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Danbury Hospital. She was the widow of Roman J. Peters.
Mrs. Peters was born in Scranton, PA on February 14, 1922, a daughter of the late Felix and Victoria Borowich. She was a resident of Oxford for over 40 years and a member of Holy Saviour Church in Naugatuck.
She leaves a daughter, Cheryl Ann Peters of Oxford; a grandson, Philip T. Peters and his wife Sharron of Oxford; two grandchildren, Ashley Lynn Peters and Philip Walter Roman Peters; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral services will be held at Saint Stanislaus Polish National Catholic Church, Scranton, PA. Burial will follow in Saint Stanislaus Cemetery, Scranton, PA. A memorial service will be held at a time to be announced at Holy Saviour National Catholic Church in Union City, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Saviour National Catholic Church, 118 Prospect Street, Naugatuck, CT 06770.
