Obituary
Bessie Rogers, 86, of Parrish passed away November 8, 2009.
Born in Grand Ridge, Florida she moved to Parrish in 1975 from Marianna, Florida.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Rogers. Survivors include her sons, Roy Rogers and Jimmie Rogers; daughters, Belinda Marlow, Vanessa Goforth, Virginia Montoya and Doris Rogers; brother, Dewey Durden, 18 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 10, 5-7 pm at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, 720 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton. Service will be held Wednesday, November 11, 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. John Marlow officiating. Burial will be at Fortner Cemetery in Parrish.
